New Pump Station to Meet Wilgus State Park’s Water Needs

Demand at the Wilgus State Park in Ascutney, Vermont had exceeded the capacity of the facility’s water supply. Otter Creek Engineering designed storage and pumping systems that meet the needs of the Park’s day and overnight users. The new pump station was designed to match the architecture of the Park’s historic buildings constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression.

The Leland & Gray Union High School’s water supply failed to meet the requirements of the USEPA’s Lead and Copper Rule. Otter Creek engineering evaluated the water quality parameters and designed a cost effective treatment system that brings the school into compliance with regulatory requirements.
